Luke and, now, Maq are taking Kajukenbo lessons. It's mixed martial arts, and both kids are having a great time. Luke has earned his yellow stripe belt and Maq has begun with her white belt. In this clip, Luke and Maq are working on a self-defense move, for when you are grabbed by your lapels. I think they have the pushing away down pat! I guess they've already had practice with that.
Of course, the funniest part was when both kids tried to remember the title earned by their professor or sefu (pronounced see-foo). Maquel kept calling him "seafood" and Luke kept forgetting and calling him "Sushi" (he knew it had something to do with fish?!?). I still chuckle over that one :)
