SpecOps Lazertag

At Tanner's birthday, Luke had a great time playing lasertag at the new SpecOps outdoor facility. The boys had fun exercising their new found combat skills, and even beat the other team 3 times in a row. Oh did I mention....they played teenagers! The other team kept complaining because they were so hard to find and even harder to keep up with.

Mike, the owner, provided the boys with war paint. And of course, the boys smeared it all over.

For 2 1/2 hours the boys ran, dodged, hid, attacked and captured the enemies general. I wandered around the facility taking pictures, and more than once took on both hostle and friendly fire. Yup, Tanner shot me.

The boys took a victory pic, when they captured the other teams General.

One of Luke's memorable moments came when "Cypher", one of the refs, tried to play a trick on the boys by setting off a "Bomb" (a device that sends a pulse to all the guns in range and immediately kills everyone). Cypher was waiting for someone to find him. Luke came around the corner, saw what Cypher had and dove behind a wall, just has Cypher hit the switch. Everyone, except Luke, was hit by the bomb. Boy, was HE jazzed!
