Bailey, Lexi, and Maquel
The "The Red Hot All Stars" began their t-ball season, yesterday. Maquel still isn't sure she likes softball, but she's playing on the same team as her two best friends, Lexi and Bailey. With that kind of back-up, she's bound to have fun, despite it all. When Maq took her first time at bat, she swung with all her might. It landed about 6 feet in front of her, and she took off like a shot....to 3rd base. Of course, she didn't stop there. She rounded 2nd then finally stopped at 1st base with a big embarrassed grin. She'd figured it out by then.

Luke's team, the "Thunder", played their first game, as well. They started off slow, but by the end of the game, they were looking great. Luke played pitcher (not pitching, he's still playing coach pitch) position for most of the game. He surprised us by catching a line drive for an "out." They didn't win their first game, but there is still a whole season ahead of them.
